Is there any plans for this motherboard to have 1055t and 1090t support?
Current bios F5e does not support this CPU!

I think you will have to contact runn3R(forum moderator) for this answer. He has direct line to Gigabyte and can ask the question.

Hi jazzrz86
Thanks for PM, here is the latest F5i bios (http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/upload/files/BIOS_MA78G-DS3HP_F5i.zip) with support of these CPU's.
-
I am sure a lot of people were waiting for that one runn3R ;)

Are you positive that 1090t BE and 1055t work on this board because the cpu list says only the 1075t and i think it was the 1045t. Would really like to have this clarified or tested. The 1090t BE just dropped in price cheaper than the 1075T, so i would like to get the 1090t BE, thankyou.

Hi,
Gigabyte have released the F5i BIOS to allow these CPU's to run on this motherboard. The fact that they are not shown on the CPU support list is probably due to an oversight.

The posts were back in July and if runn3R (who is forum admin and in technical dept) confirmed that the latest BIOS update then would run the processors on that board I am sure there will be no problem. The only thing I would say is that officially Gigabyte do not support the BE editions as far as overclocking goes.

Just snuck in there before me absic. Still at least we agreed! ;D

Neither does AMD for that matter ;D.
I just had to add this :P.

No company actually supports overclocking, although they ALL like to sell the O/C capabilities of their hardware. ::)
