Title: Build Quality of P55A-UD3 Motherboards in Egypt

Hi
I'm interested in buying a Gigabyte P55A-UD3 motherboard and I live in Cairo - Egypt. It's available in here but the build quality of computer components  such as motherboards are much less than the same boards that are sold in Europe or America (Even though all of boards sold in Europe or Egypt are Made in China) and these low quality builds  that are sold here in Egypt is something I'm quite sure of so I have a couple of questions.

1) How can I tell the build quality from the package before buying it?
2) Where can i buy this board from Europe or America? I tried so many sites but no one of them are shipping to Egypt. >:(

The second question is very important for me as I'm really frustrated by the low quality components in my market here and my inability of buying from outside what I want. I'm looking forward to buy a reliable rig for myself that is durable and sturdy.

I know that a lot of suppliers wont send to certain countries. I would recommend trying some like Amazon, Ebuyer, etc they are more likely to help. As for the choice of components that is mainly a matter of taste and price. I don't think that there is anyway of telling the quality of construction from the packaging alone.

thanks for yr reply but Amazon do not ship to Egypt at all whether it is hardware or even books. Ebuyer does not seem to send to Egypt as well as I felt like it is UK specific so I didn't bother to open an account there. I'm stuck.

Are there any webpages that speak about different levels of build quality of computer components, in China, in detail? and which levels go to which countries?

PS is it possible to correspond with Gigabyte about that matter? I tried finding an email for them but I couldn't find any for general inquiries.

The only thing I can suggest is that you contact the Forum Moderator "runn3R" who is directly employed by Gigabyte and see if he can help opr give you another address to email.

P55A-UD3 is manufactured in the same factory for all the countries.
So all motherboards of this model available to buy around the world come from the same factory, using the same components and quality assurance process.
