Title: ga-ex58-ud5 bios error code 26

Can anyone help, I had this problem for months.
the system something hangs on boot with bios error code 26 displayed
I press the rest button and them it boots
I have 6 gig of ran and some time it only see 4 gig
do you think this is a ram problem

Im running bios F12

Chances are it's a memory problem but we would need more information regarding you system specs to make any sort of accurate assesssment.

Well first I would clear the CMOS and load BIOS defaults. If you still have trouble then insert one stick of memory at a time and run Memtest86 from a bootable cd. Do this for all the memory modules and see if any are faulty.
