Not sure where to post this but here I go. Fresh Windows 7 64bit install. First start and every subsequent start I get the Code 10 this device failed to start error. I have reinstalled windows over 5 times now and almost 8 reinstalls of the Realtek driver. Nothing seems to be working. Latest version of this motherboard, and also latest version of the Lan driver directly from the Gigabyte website. Someone help! :(

Are you sure that you downloaded the correct 64bit driver?
-
Yes as there is only 1 Win7 64 bit driver. I also tried installing a Win7 32bit os and trying the 32bit driver. This still hasn't solved the problem. It still displays the device can not start
-
Also, when I uninstall and let windows reinstal the default driver at reboot, windows tells me the device driver software does not sucessfully install
-
Are you using the latest BIOS update for your motherboard?
-
yes, version FE
-
One last thing, letting the gigabyte install disc handle the driver installation doesnt work either :\
-
Have you tried the Realtek Ethernet Diagnostic Utility that you can download from the same place as the LAN drivers?
Right, can you list all of your hardware components please?
-
Have you tried the other NIC? Your motherboard has two.
When the cable is not plugged in for the NIC do you still get a error code?
To be sure your getting the right one redownload “Win7 32/64 Auto Installation Program” from here.

Have the NIC's worked before with another OS?
Is this a new build?
