I'm trying to update the BIOS on my AX370-Gaming K7.
I got it up to F30, then I ran the ECFW tool, which ran but caused a black screen and sat there for a good 10 minutes. I turned the PC off and on again but continued to get a black screen.
Eventually I pulled the BIOS battery out and everything started working again.
I've now updated to F31 and gone to run the ECFW tool again, but this time it's asking me to load a .bin file.
The choices are.
V615.bin
V623.bin
V632.bin
V679.bin
V684.bin
V817.bin
Which 1 should I choose?

Greetings,
Watched a few videos and searched for information. Zero documentation available for this. I didn't see anyone getting prompted for a .bin file however.
Some ran from windows, others from a USB stick. Its recommended that you be on F31 before running the EC FW tool. Also saw posts from a few users that said a .txt file was put in the directory where the file was run from. Extract to desktop, run tool, after restart .txt file with the contents "PASS" was present. They then updated to F40.
The tool didn't take more than a minute after it was run before restarting the system automatically.

I deleted the folder and extracted it again.
Ran it, it didn't ask for a .bin file, but it basically bricked my machine again.
I have managed to upgrade my BIOS to F50a though, no problems so far.

Just my recommendation, but I would stay away from beta BIOS, unless they fix or address something specific. Up to you.
