I've been thinking of buying an external case that supports raid-1 for my HTPC. In doing some research I noticed the eSATA port only supports 1 drive for this motherboard. Do I need an external case that supports port multipliers or anything?
I am running Linux (Ubuntu)
I can not add any PCIe or PCI cards (all slots are full)
Thanks!

I would think that you will need a case that specifically supports RAID1 because as you say you only have one port.

I was looking at both of these

They both look like they will do the business :) Obviously the cheaper one would do what you need but there would be no room for expansion later if you wanted to. You will have to make up your mind and decide what your longer term plans are.
