Hello. On my pc i have the GA-Z97X motherboard. The last days i updated my internet speed to 1Gbps Fiber.
But on all speed test i get 940Mbps.
The question: is the onboard gigabit Ethernet controller capable for 1Gbps or do i need to buy/install pci ethernet card?
The driver for E2200 on windows 10 is from 2016.
Is it a good idea to buy something like that? https://www.e-shop.cy/digitus-dn-10110-gigabit-ethernet-pci-network-card-p-PER.611708

There is nothing wrong with your motherboard. You getting 940mb download speed there nothing out the even gaming need that much download speed. 940mb is about right for that 1Gbps.
You might not get that if you are using more devices on the internet at the same time. So I would kill for download speeds that high. lol
Mine is at about 90mb and that really more I ever need. Yes you doing a lot big software download yours will be great.
