Title: AMD A520 Motherboards

Hi all,

I am aware that there were some issues with AMD B550 and X570 boards concerning USB connectivity, is the issue likely to affect the A520 boards or has a bios update solved the problem?

Hi,
It appears that a BIOS version has addressed the issue, my MB shipped with version 15 so should be fine.

Hi,

I also had a reply from Gigabyte eSupport and they recommended not updating the BIOS unless it was necessary. Therefore, if it is not broken don't try and fix it. :)

I have a A520M DS3H and the USB's work, but the mouse some times doesn't work right. Plus I have the F15 bios on it too. I can connect that mouse to another computer and have issues at all with it. I have had many different issues with this board.

I had a Gigabyte 1070 8gb card that was giving me white screen when gaming. Even did some bsod too. Swap it out with another PNY 1070 8gb no issues. Put the Gigabyte 1070 into another computer no issues.

One thing at one time I was AMD junkie. Today I will not own a AMD computer for myself. I have 10 times more problems with AMD vs Intel.
