Title: Where does the +12V power of PCI-E slot on the motherboard come from?
Post by: onemilimeter on July 22, 2010, 10:18:20 pm
Where are the +12V pins of the PCI-E slot on my UD3R connected to? To the 24-pin (or 20-pin + 4-pin) motherboard power connector or the 8-pin (or 4-pin + 4-pin) CPU power connector?

It has to be the 24 pin connector because we had PCIe before the extra socket was installed for the CPU.
