After getting the FF POST code, my motherboard displays 0b POST code. I'm not sure whether its 0b or 06 but it seems more like 0b. What does 0b POST code represent?
BTW, I've got a X58A-UD7 mobo

There is no 0b or 06 code. I couldn't even see anything that could be mistaken for it. Sounds like a fault to me.

Did you mean a faulty board?
FYI this is how it looks

I am afraid I would say so. Does it do it every time that you boot up now?
-
Yes, I think I have been seeing that since I started the Dynamic Energy Saver.
-
Oh! Not another of Gigabyte's software muckups. ::) I shopuld try and uninstall it but it might not be so easy sometimes they are stubborn.
-
But is the DES good. I mean does really save the amt. of power that it states. Is it worth using that application?
-
I really don't know how effective it is but I just don't like programs that f**k up my computer.
-
OK so I've turned off the Saver and the code is back to FF after a restart :) SOLVED. Thx DM
Just one more question, can the app cause any permanent damage to the system?
-
No problem mate. ;)
