Have a quick question. I just bought the motherboard and was in PC health in the BIOS when I noticed my CPU temp was 24C and my system temp was 41C.
That seems reversed to me. My fear is that the fan will not speed up as the temp rises on the CPU. After a while of gaming and rendering the system temp is 54C and 26C CPU.
Just seems backwards.
Should I return the board? or Is it a possible BIOS flash issue? I am running Version F9 and the board is revision 1.3.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Well the first thing I would suspect would be the reporting software and try something else to confirm the temperatures. There are many free programs for this on the internet. It could just be a stuck sensor.

OK. I have done that. EasyTune 6 says same as BIOS and I figured that. Core Temp is reading between 43 and 51 at idle for the cores.
HWMonitor Does not label as CPU and PCH it labeled as TMPIN1 matching system temp and TMPIN2 matching CPU temp as it is in the BIOS.
Both temps move around. That is why I am thinking bad sesnor and or not hooked up correctly and returning the board.
Thanks for the response

Yes from what you say I would agree. It's RMA time ;)

Thanks RMA time it is. :(

Is there a BIOS ypdate for your board? Try if there is b4 RMA.

There is no newer version of his BIOS Fatman. F9 is the latest. ;)
