Title: GA-X48-DQ6 and clock problems
Post by: chupo on May 17, 2009, 07:00:29 pm
It was hard to realize at first, but now i'm definetly sure that clock falls behind 1 minute every day, i still have no idea why..... is there any way to fix this since I am suspecting CMOS logic and crystals that the clock circuit depends on? I'd like to avoid RMA if possible....

do u check under bios or windows ?
try to upgrade bios & boot just into bios setup for a few days for checking, don't enter windows. if this still happens then send to rma

If the cmos battery is okay it could well be a RMA unfortunatly. Ive heard of XP 64bit loosing time, but yours is loosing time both in OS and BIOS
