excuse my bad inglish please.
Buy a ga-ud3h 890gpa 2.0. Install it with a Phenom x4 945
Win7 use 32 bits. Install drivers using Xpress Install (including sound)
Connect my Logitech x-540 5.1 that has three plug.
Green: Front
Orange: center / woofer
Black: rear
I connected each connector in the corresponding color at the back of my motherboard. In Realtek panel, selection 5.1 but the rear channels do not work.
If set to 7.1 sound all channels (including rear).
But I doubt that the sound will work accordingly.
I'm plugging everything okay? I need to configure?
I tried with the windows sound wizard, and I get the same negative results.
thanks!

Hi there,
Have you updated Realtek Drivers for latest version as the ones on CD may be a little old now?

I had a similar problem on my onboard sound and found that if I set it to 7.1 and used the side speakers instead of the rear it worked fine.

I will try with new drivers (they are really new, they have 10 days!)
Then stop by to discuss the results

In order to work in the 5.1 selection i have them plugged in as side speakers.
Let us know if that is fixed with the new drivers.

Connect the black plug (rear) in the gray connector of the mobo (side)
When the soft I wonder who had connected, select side.
Set as 5.1 and functioning properly.

Yes. This is standard for the two types of output.
