Title: Marvell 91xx config device
Post by: Graceman on August 30, 2010, 03:41:52 pm
I have one device that stubbornly refuses to configure called Marvell 91xx config in device viewer.

Anyone know whatthis is and where I can get drivers. nonw seem to be on the CD.

I seem to only have this problem left to cure.

Did search first returned none.

Sounds like it is the Marvel 9128 SATA ports on the motherboard.
How have you got these configured in BIOS?
Are you using these SATA ports?

It was the Marvell console driver that was needed found it here

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3305&dl=1#driver

Loaded and cured my problem.

Now all I need to do is work out what all these sata devices are for and why I need them.

Was thinking would system actually be better with them all turned of?
