I have been plagued with windows 7 64bit not restarting or shutting down properly since getting my EX58-UD5.
I will shut the system down only to find it stays on the windows is shutting down screen for several minutes before restarting and presenting a windows encountered a problem dialogue box upon reboot.
Is there a possible bios setting that could be effecting shutdowns and restarts as i have run out of ideas!
Thanks

Firstly would you mind updating your profile which can be found at the top with your location please. It can make it easier to answer if we know where the poster is.
As for your problem I would advise turning off all the power saving settings in the BIOS. C1E, C5, EIST etc and see if that helps. If it does you can either leave them disabled or turn them on one at a time and see what effect they have.
