Hello,
I'm going to purchase the GA-H57M-USB3 but I would like to know the difference between ver 1.0 & 2.0?
It's a bit odd that the Gigabyte website doesn't state what has changed between versions.
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3443#ov
I can see some slight differences and ver 2.0 has 'ON/OFF Charge' printed on the bottom right but I believe both ver 1.0 and 2.0 support this feature, so what has really changed? :-\
I'm wondering if it's worth seeking out ver 2.0. Has ver 2.0 been out long? and is it available in the UK? any idea which stores have them in stock?
On a separate question, does the H57 chipset heatsink on this board get very hot? When I do get this board would it be beneficial to change the heatsink to something larger/taller (e.g. Zalman passive heatink). I won't be using the two older PCI slots so could fit something bigger.
Thanks.

I have had a look at the boards and there is certainly not much difference between the two. On most of the other models the revision 2.0 motherboard is a slightly cut down version of the original rev.1.0. Ususally this means less power phases etc but I must admit I can't see anything missing from the rev 2.0 on this particular board.
