Title: gigabyte x58a-ud3r help

For some reason the motherboard disc will not work. I cannot install motherboard drivers. I also tried using a flash drive, with files from gigabyte site. by setup.exe keeps failing. Here error of setup failing

Hi and welcome to the forum.
It would seem that the most likely cause is a corrupt file on the disk. Try downloading the drivers and setup files from the website. This is a better idea anyway as they are going to be updated compared to the disks.

You downloaded them directly to your desktop from the Gigabyte site for your motherboard and they fail?

Try them downloaded directly, as the ones on the CD will be old anyway, and run them from your desktop not USB Stick.

If that still fails, then you probably need windows updates installed, most likely the .NET Framework optional updates.
