Post by: padluke on September 17, 2010, 07:45:11 am
Hi, I have one question. This mobo have High Definition Audio CODEC Realtek ALC892. Explain to me, why in Playback Devices setting tab I do not have a table with Realtek HDMI Output, like on second picture. I have settings tab same as first picture.

Thank you for the explanation and sorry for my english.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Have you loaded the Realtek HD drivers or are you just using the generic drivers installed by Windows? If so this could be your problem but as long as the device is working properly there is nothing to worry about. ;)

Hi, Hi, I used driver from gigabyte driver pages.
(specifically: r2.49-6121 (Realtek Function driver for Realtek Azalia audio chip (Including Microsoft UAA/HDMI Driver in English edition) for Win7 64))
I just wanted the same thing in the second image  :D

Are you using a graphics card with HDMI on it?   That may be why if you installed it's HDMI driver

Hmm, not sure then?    Is it causing you issues?   If not then you can probably ignore it.
