Looks like a very nice little piece of equiptment. I am surew there will be a strong market for it. Does it support handwriting recognition? And I see they still haven't included my 30inch fold flat screen ;)

Hey Dark Mantis,
Yes, it does support it
ritePen®  – a handwriting recognition and intelligent navigation software

ritePen®  is an advanced handwriting recognition software for Microsoft Windows-based pen-enabled computers. You can write anywhere on the screen or other input surface and have your handwriting instantly converted to text for use in any Windows application

Please Note!  Language Support: Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish

Let me see if I can get an official presentation up on this topic.

Hi RuiPereira
Well that should keep a lot of previous users happy ;) The computer itself looks very nice and all joking apart if my eyesight was better and my fingers smaller I would be sorely tempted at that price. Sod the iPad 8)

Have not bought it, but if I do I have an Idea on how do to the unboxing, just think Muppet show, not offensive to anyone I PROMISE.

You have to convince me to buy one first.

Hi there,

Are there any plans for releasing this device in the UK officially?

Currently I know one company listing it as pre-order. To my knowledge, they wait for people to order it online and then buy from overseas and then deliver the order.

I hope that there will be UK stock soon.

Just be warned the battery life is pathetic, 5 hours with everything turned off and if you want wifi it's down to 4 hours, also the Audio ain't that great on it.

Everything else I like, they just need to release a 12 cell battery for it to know the battery life up to 8 hours plus and I could get some logitech clip on speakers for it.

Was told on here 7 hours battery life, that was a load of balls.

Out.

I'm afraid that when any manufacturer quotes figures they always have to be taken with a pinch of salt ::)

No it's pretty much lies from RuiPereira, if I turn everything down and off plus install a SSD and he said it shoudl get 7 hours when I do that with a fresh install.

Nothing but lies.

No pinch of salt at all.

They need a 8 or 12 cell battery with this machine full stop.

Out.
