this mobo has 2 Ethernet ports or duel lan port. i do not have a lan nor do i go to lans. i just have this one pc hooked up to my internet. if i plug in 2 cat6 cables off my router will it increase, decrease, stabilize or do nothing to my connection?

Edit: using windows 7 home professional about to upgrade to either professional or ultimate.  F8 bios

It won't help your internet connection at all to have the cables and ports doubled up because the slowest part of your connection is your ISP's cable to your house.
