Hi and welcome to the forum.
The first thing to check in my opinion would be to see if you have any bent CPY socket pins. You will need to carefully remove the CPU/hetasink/fan assembly and then probably using a magnifying glass see if all the pins are uniform. If you are in any doubt whatsoever take a few photos in macro mode and then post them on here for us to check for you.

i5 760 2.8ghz
No video output... this is from them Onboard VGA, DVI & HDMI right? As I don't see a Video Card listed.

If memory serves this processor doesn't have onboard graphics capabilities.

that was fast guys thanks ok will remove processor and have a look ,it has on boared graphics. cheers

No it has on board ports for graphics the board has no graphics to run them ports, this is now all done by the CPU...and that i5 760 has no graphics to run them ports.

After just checking on the Intel site this processor doesn't have onboard graphics capabilities.

yep you are right oh well lesson learned

You either have the option to change hte COPU for one with integrated graphics or use a discrete graphics card. There are many available if you don't want the high power that are fanless and therefore noisless.

ok that would be my best solution graphics card with no fan. thanks
