EX58-UD5 F13 mobo with F13 series bios has a worse dpc latency problem
when I use BIOS F12 , the DPC latency problem don't annoy me
when I update to F13 default, the DPC latency is very terrible almost about 40000us
Fresh install of win 7 only drivers installed. No ET6 or DES installed at all.
and then i try some methods, such us C1E disableed , EIST disable , windows 7 power option , HT disabled
,update divers ,................
they are useless , can't fix my problem

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Was there a reason that you needed to update the BIOS? If not I would just suggest that you reflash it to F12.
Finding the cause of latency problems can be difficult but from your description it would seem to be purely down to something in the new BIOS so I would advise telling GGTS and maybe they can rewrite the BIOS to help.

because my occz vertex 2 with F12 BIOS will show smart command error problem

Ah, you see this is why we ask people to list their hardware when they make their original post. OCZ drives did have a problem with this and as far as I am aware it has been fixed now. I think they issued a firmware update for the drives. Check on their website for further information and if you still have problems please come back. ;)

I think I will reflash F12 version because of the noise and then ask gigabyte correct the error again.
But they said I am who have this problem. They said they test the latest bios is no problem.

To be honest I wasn't aware of any issues with the latest BIOS especially with latency.
You can always try and track it down yourself. Try these things:
Turn off disk indexing
Turn off all non essential programs and services
Disable all non essential devices in Device Manager
When you have done that see if the latency problem has gone. If it has turn on one thing at a time and check the latency levels until you find the culprit. Takes some time but that is the procedure. ;)

thank you
when I use the ssd ,I use the ssd tweak tools which turns off disk indexing
when I reinstall win 7 , it still has same problem
and I also try disable USB3.0 card , buildin sonund card , tv card ...... except for display card

In that case it is probably software based. Are you running any of the software from Gigabyte that was included with the motherboard? If so uninstall it. Next try turning off the power saving options in the BIOS like EIST, C1E, C3 etc
