Is there a way to see what controller chip is installed on a system in bios or somewhere else?

exp: Intel ICH

Everest or some similar program will tell you. It will also tell you in your manual.

Sorry, just got to say....

Please don't post images with read/write speeds this high as it makes me cry!!!  :'(
