With WINXP i have . ..

left without JMICRON driver some 20 µs

right with JMICRON driver some 750 µs

question : bad BIOS or bad driver ?? ( but i have exactly same DPC latency report with ASUS P5K !! )

Difficult question as it could be either but my guess would be driver. Anyhow I take it that you are running the latest BIOS so why not try flashing to a slightly older one and see if it makes any difference. I know that won't be a foolproof answer but it might help.

problem is with driver ...

i look if i found old JMicron drivers ...

FOUND : problem exist if IDE JMicron port is automatically installed with RAID driver

finnaly found good ide driver with JMide.inf in DRIVER\Application\jmide folder
