No because this card is only  :

Compatible with Host Controllers using the SiI3124 and SiI3132 chipset.

But you can use with 4 * disks this ( config is compltly independant switcheable RAID 0,1,10,5 ) i use 4 * similar adaptators in RAID 10

http://www.addonics.com/products/host_controller/ad4sr5hpmus.asp

only a little problem because you can use <= 2TO RAID ( i have in RAID 10  4*1TO disks and no problems )

Speed is very good some 160Mo/s in sata

Use only one sata port or also USB

Thanks for the quick reply! That looks like exactly what I want. Not a ton of information, but you say it's limited to 2TB arrays? The site says it does RAID-5 with 4 disks... I assume it works with only 3 disks as well? 3 1TB drives in RAID5 should work then.

Exist also SPM394 based adapter similar to Addonics product but with LCD / Buttons for configuration

http://www.ioisata.com/products/Port-Multiplier/SPM394.htm

I think that also limitation is with >= 2TO Array

Thanks. I went ahead and ordered that Addonics one. I'm going to remove the the case retention piece and mount it in a project box. It should work out perfectly for my case and needs.
