Title: LAN Problem with GA-P55A-UD4P
Post by: Lotem on November 08, 2010, 02:45:31 pm
Hey,
I've built a new rig from scratch and my MB is GA-P55A-UD4P
I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7, and got my PC to work.
I also installed all of the drivers from the MB disk and everything is working great,
except for the internet.
I just can't get the internet to work, and I tried so many different possible drivers, both from Gigabyte website and Realtek website.
I'm not sure it's the drivers who are the problem, but the cable I'm using was working on my previous PC just fine.
I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

Normally the internet side of things installs fairly smoothly with Windows 7. Afew questions first.

How do you normaly connect to the internet (physically) ?

Have you tried another cable?

What ISP do you use?

What browser have you installed?

Have you got the cable plugged into the correct port on the rear plate?

1. My PC is connected to a router. (Was that what you meant?)

2. I've tried connecting a cable from my laptop(which I use now) to my PC, but it doesn't work as well.

3. Some ISP in Israel. (Netvision013)

4. IE, mainly because I haven't got to download a better one. :P

5. I've tried both ports numerous times. Neither work...

Sorry for wasting your time. :)
