Title: apparent problem with Samsung F3 Drives and AMD SB850 southbridge chip (solved)

This post is a heads up for folks with the newer Southbridge chip sb850..This problem of BSOD and instability as well as failure ..Moderators if this is not the proper place please correct or remove this post.
Background: When there is the Hard drive  listed above coupled with the AMD SB850 Chip there have been numerous reports of failures and or stability  problems..
The good news is that Samsung has issued a patch to their F3 drives firmware..
I found this while looking for a new hard drive for my new build(GA-870A-UD3) MB..I already have the Samsung 500GB Spinrite drive on another computer and love it..

Note this problem is widespread and not just on Gigabyte motherboards.

Good to know. As a matter of fact, I have one of these drives but a much older chip, so I'm not in danger.
