Hi there, I think you guys remember me anyway
you guys have try bios F6??
I know from other users that bios F5 won't get along with HDD arrays besides is mainly for the use with 1075t cpu's
so my question, Is ok if I upgrade the bios to F6 having an array?? as I heard too that this bios brings somehow improvements to the system...??
forgot... Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5

Hi Christoph
There should be no problems with running F6. I have been testing a RAID0 Array and switched from F5 to F6 without any major problems. Once you have updated the BIOS just remember to re-set the SATA Controllers back to RAID and away you go.

I've flashed to F6 as well and it's working fine with no issues. I'm running a pair of Crucial C300 64GB SSDs in RAID 0 and everything's fine. I went straight to F6 from F2, skipping F5 altogether.

You should be getting some good figures with that configuration. ;)

This is good to hear about raid, as I am going to go with 2 x 64GB Vertex 2 SSDs when I get back home. 8)

Ohhhh that's good to know
cuz I heard things about F5 and guys that never found the way back to recover their array.
but you guys already tested F6 with no problems, then is good to go now
thanks guys
