Hi guys!
Yesterday I setup a new PC with:
Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB3
i3 540
4GB RAM
C300 64GB
OS: Windows XP
Monitor: Benq g2200hd
I've installed latest Bios F11 and all the drivers from http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3308#driver
My problem is that i've finally got the HDMI working, BUT the signal keeps falling out. If i restart the computer, the monitor wount find the signal, so I have to turn off/on the monitor to get signal to the monitor. Another example is when the PC has been idle for 30minutes, it turns of the monitor. When I try to wake it up again, the signal is gone. I've have to turn the monitor off/on to get the signal back.
I've tested the monitor on another PC and have no problems there.
Any suggestions guys?

No idea guys? Is my MB DOA?

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte UK Forum.
I think it is a problem with the monitor not recognising the "wakeup" signal from the graphics output. That is why when you manually wake the monitor it is fine. I am not sure that there is anyrthing that you can do settings wise that will make a difference apart from not letting it go to sleep at all.

Thank you for welcoming me and for trying to help!
Yes, got the same problem when the PC has been turned off, turning it on the monitor doesn't recognize the signal and it doesn't wake up, until i turn it off and on.
So, if there is now know issue it just be that i got a MB that is DOA and it will ship it in return, sux, cous it takes so many days to get a new one!

No there is no known issue that I am aware of. So maybe a RMA is the only way to go.

Why use the HDMI anyway? Why not try the DVI cable?
