Title: GA-880GMA-UD2H Motherboard chipset
Post by: Rabbit on December 03, 2010, 03:05:57 am
This is the first time i have used a gigabyte board and was just doing some stability tests when i realized
that the chipset as stated in the specifications namely: Northbridge AMD 880G and Southbridge AMD SB850
are completely different when displayed with CPU-Z!

My motherboard reads- Northbridge: AMD 785GX and Southbridge SB750!

Does anyone have the same problem?  >:(

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte UK Forum.

Is your copy of CPU-Z the most up to date as if not it could just be a reporting issue?

No problem. It is often just some small overlooked reason for these things.  8)
