Title: GA-X58A-UD3R: User account control window that appears every time I reboot

Every time I boot up, I get the user account control window below from Windows.  I click yes every time.  Shouldn't it go away?

I think that's easytune..............You can either uninstall it or just stop it from starting with windows when you boot up, you need to run msconfig and then uncheck it from the startup tab.

hey there.
weird that you mention that cause i had the same prob with my pc the first  few days i bought it...
same mobo with u ofc as well..
well i stoped it by running msconfig then disable it...
lol that pop up was a real headache if u ask me..
So ye Fatman is right  ;)

Yes EasyTune is on the list it is third from the bottom. Just deselect it.  ;)

 :-[ Heh.  Can you tell some of this is new to me?  I didn't realize that easytune and ET were the same!  Thanks for the insight.

So -- what is easytune, anyway????

Basically a free set of utilities that Gigabyte provides with the motherboard that enables you to play around with various settings. In my experience  more trouble than it's worth. Check in your manual if you want a detailed explanation of the features. ;)

its a software that comes with ur mobo disc & lets u do some easy o/c
for begginers mostly.
gives u some nice info for your system as well
 ;)
