As we Silver Surfers know, sometimes we have trouble with our computers.
I had a problem yesterday, so I called Eric, the 11 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control and asked him to come over.
Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong?
He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired,'An, ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'
Eric grinned.... 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?
'No,' I replied.
'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'
So I wrote down:
ID10T
I used to like Eric, the little ...... !!
Yes, I know it's an old joke but it still makes me laugh. :D

Just got home from shopping to find that all my doors and windows had been kicked in and everything has been taken.
What type of sicko does that to someone else's Advent Calendar!?! :D
-
Hahaha ;D
I knew you were kidding because you live on the 14TH FLOOR!!
What type of sicko does that to someone else's Advent Calendar!?!

Ahhhh, man. I needed this. Thanks absic!
Being serious for a moment here, children sometimes really make you feel stupid :P. I'm helping with the organisation of "Polish Academy of Children" at my university. It's basically children ( + some of the professors ) preparing lectures for other kids. Let me tell you that I certainly wasn't that knowledgeable when I was their age! I didn't even think about such things! :o

very bad weather north of the border,,,You know since the snow started , the wife has done nothing but look through the window, do you think I should let her in??? ::)
-
Don't turn soft now Jannie. She will expect to be let in all the time otherwise!!!
I always send mine off to work with a spare bulb, just in case the streetlight goes out! Don't want to lose custom ;D

This explains why we get so many of those bent socket pins :o

I agree about the good laugh!
Ok, I couldn't discover why my system kept shutting off on its own accord...until I opened the case!
Enjoy!

I found a couple of other good laughs.
Here they are:
Daddy, how was I born ?
Daddy, how was I born ? Ah, very well, one day you need to find out anyway! Mom and Dad got together in a chat room on MSN. Dad set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber cafe. We snuck into a secluded room, and then your mother downloaded from your dad's memory stick. As soon as dad was ready for an upload, it was discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall. Since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later the blessed virus appeared. And that's the story.
Be aware of these viruses:
VIAGRA VIRUS
Makes a new hard drive out of an old floppy.
MIKE TYSON VIRUS
Quits after two bytes.
