Which hd drivers do i need for my motherboard if i'm not going to use RAID ?
-
Hi
Basically all the drivers that are needed are included on your motherboard disk but I would recommend downloading them from the website as a better alternative as they will be more up to date. If you post what revision your board is I will link you to them.

thanks. i wasn't clear enough.
i'm not going to use RAID, should i still install the RAID drivers ?
do i need these : Marvell RAID Utility (SATA3) ? Marvell Console Driver (SATA3) ?
-
There is no need to install the RAID drivers if you don't intend to use RAID. Also I would suggest disabling it in the BIOS if you are not going to use the ports at all along with the floppy drive etc.

but Marvell Console Driver (SATA3) is the SATA 3 driver, right ? so i have to install that if i use SATA 3 drives ?

I think it is necessary to install that but I am not sure if it is used in all cases such as IDE mode. However it won't hurt to install it anyway.
