Just purchased a brand new Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard with 4X2Gb Corsair 1600Mhz 1.65V Ver 2.3. When I place two of the DIMMS into memory slot 1 and 2 the system runs fine. Then when I place the other two DIMMS into slot 3 and 4, the systems beeps during post and NOTHING.
I've tried moving the dimms around but any dimms in slot 3 and 4 and the system beeps during post!
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? There is NO OVERCLOCKING SET ON THIS BUILD.

The general advice is to underclock your RAM to 1300MhZ, not 1600Mhz

Good advice from cchaos there.
Apart from the extra load on your memory controllers because of the full slots you are also putting your CPU at risk by running the memory at 1600Mhz.

I have not looked up this CPU but in general you can not count on rated memory speeds when all 4 RAM positions are used. Deep in the specs for the AMD processors is a table showing how fast the RAM will run when 2 and 4 sticks are used. Usually you have to step down 1 speed level to get 4 sticks certified by AMD.

Suggested to run at 1333. I had probs with Corsair 1600.Switched to Gskill.Runs at 1600 at 1.65 V,stock.
If you insisit on running at 1600,try Ganged mode

I think Babdi means run your RAM in Unganged mode here not Ganged.
If you are still having problems getting your system to post could you post back with your full system specs and also how many Beeps are you getting when you insert the extra RAM?
