Post by: Sportandlife on December 18, 2010, 07:01:48 pm
Hello guys. Sory for me bad english, i'm not a very god speaker. I'm from Romania

I have one problem with me PC. I have a Motherboard gigabyte GA-8VM800M Sochket 478 with Intel Procesor.
is older but is works very god. I want to upgrade RAm memory. I buy 1Gb  memory ram KingMax Freqvency 800mhz but dont work with my motherboard.
In manual  specify thet suport a DDR400/DDR333/DDR266.
My questions is a memory ram from 533/600 freqvency works with this motherboard?

Tnx

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forumm.

I am sorry but it wouldn't appear to be supported on this motherboard and the BIOS doesn't have any more recent updates that could help in  that direction. There is also a maximum supported amount of 2 GB.
