Hi I have a GA965P-DS4 rev 1 motherboard with the f11 bios udate.
My problem is that after the bios update, windows 7 32bit doesent see my audigy sound card.
I went to the bios and disabled azalia support but still nothing.

Is the Audigy sound card in the top PCIE x1 slot?
-
no its on the bottom of the motherboard

I have never had a problem like that, but what I would try is to power down the machine. Remover the card and power back up and wait untill windows loads, then power back down a replace the card and see if it will find it then> might be worth a shot..

Well I have heard of other people who have had a similar problem and say iot only works in the top slot. Now I cannot understand from a technical point of view why this should be but it might be worth trying anyway.
The other thing is diod you clear the tick on on the Keep DMI Data when you flashed the BIOS update? If not I would suggest trying to clear the CMOS next.
Remove the power cable from the mains supply and then press the power switch on the case for a few seconds just to drain any residual energy in the PSU capacitors.
Once done remove the motherboard battery for at least ten minutes before replacing it.
Next plug back into the mains supply and boot.
You will now need to enter the BIOS by pressing DEL and load Opimised BIOS Defaults.
Make any other changes to the BIOS settings to suit your self and then press F10 to save and exit.

thanks for the replys
what does clear dmi exactly do? i am just afr
aid that if i clear it
my motherboard will not support my cpu (that was the reason i updated bios).

The BIOS will still be the same version even after clearing the CMOS. All it does basically is removes all the old settings and configuration and makes the system find all the hardware again.

ok thank you i will try your suggections and see .
