I have just replaced my GA-P35C-DS3R with a GA-EP45C-UD3R on a XP SP3 machine and I recieve an ERROR box that states "Sorry!!Unknown M/B type!!" It appears everything works -drives, USB ports, networking but I get this error box everytime I boot?!?!?! When I installed the board I followed the instructions by installing the drivers from the CD and ignoring the Windows prompts to install drivers. I checked device manager and there are no issues (yellow "?").
Any help wold be appreciated.
Thanks,
Carl

Probably you haven't re-installed Windows on this MB and that's the reason.
Or there is some old software installed (like EasyTune) on old Windows which shows this error. Try to find it and uninstall.

Try running a repair install.
