Hello,

I reinstalled and updated realtek sound drivers but it didnt work. when i go to "run" and type dxdiag no sound cards is shown. and its written at the bottom in my mother language something like "Windows Audio service is disabled. Go to services console to enable it.

But when i go to "services.msc" i get nothing like "windows audio" (or windows ses in my language) or something similar.

When i checked the device manager sound seems to have no yellow or red icons to show that there is a problem.

i also have read that it might have a relation with bios that somehow it got disabled by itself, but when i go to bios, i dont see any option related with audio in "Integrated Peripherals" or whatever it is.
Please help me out with this, thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
Try going into the BIOS and enabling Azalia Codec.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
Try going into the BIOS and enabling Azalia Codec.
it is set to auto and the only other setting is to disable it. there is no "enable"

That is enabled then.
The only other thing I can think of straight off is to use Device Manager to unisntall the sound devices and then re-install them wth the latest drivers.
It could be a Windows update that has broken the sound card software as you said it was working ok.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
Well you seem to have done the sensible thing and re-installed the software but matbe you haven't re-configured it properly.
Check the Control Panel/Realtek HD Audio Manager/Speakers and see what the Speaker Configuration is set to. You might find that it is not set to your full system just stereo.
