I have bought a ga-h55m-usb3 and a processor i3 :). I have installed windows xp with sp3. :) I cant get any sound from it.
I had legacy sound and video drivers installed, but I managed to uninstalled them. And every time I install realtek hd audio driver everithing goes ok but after the boot nothing happens.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem.... :'(

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
Have you got Azalia Codecs enabled in the BIOS?
-
thanks for your reply,
and Yes I have Azalia Codec enabled in the bios wich I upgraded to version F11.
I have two other strange things... I didn't put any graphic card, nor any other card. But I have two devices in error:
a PCI device (I don't now what it could be) and a USB device.
When the system try to install devices for them it won't find any (for both).
But with this, I can live, without sound is the worst thing.
Do I need to install something because of the windows XP sp3 compatibility?
I tried everithing that I now, but nothing works...

If you are running Windows XP SP3 then it is possible that the problem is a device isn't supported properly. I would suggest going into Device Manager and uninstalling the two problem components and then try and see if you can find them again. It might recognise them correctly this time.
Failing that you will have to track down what is missing from Device Manager and try to install them manually.
I take it that all the motherboard drivers have been installed properly?

Thanks for the advice, but I spent all the last night doing that.
But good news, I read in the net , a similar problem in 2008 and I rerun the MSHDQFE for XP and in us language and it seems that it install something, and then I rerun the HD_Audio Realtek driver and it go well and the sound appear from the fog of sadness....
YYYYEEEEESSSSSSSS, but
The PCI device disappears from the devices not installed, another appears – Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus… but now I have music.. and it seems that these problems are piece of cake…
