Hi,
On a 790XTA-UD4 I had a system hd on an SB750 AMD SATA connector set as AHCI.
I installed two hds as RAID 0 on the same SB750, now set as RAID.
The initial HD with windows XP and windows 7 installed as AHCI is seen as a stand alone device.
As expected I get the infamous 0x0000007B BSOD when booting window from there (note that linux on the same device boots fine).
What can I do to make XP and seven boot without reinstalling them? I can boot them, attaching the HD on the SATA n. 4 connector and setting it as IDE. So I can easly access their registries. But I would like to avoid using the HD as IDE...

Hi,
self reply, if someone is interested...
It was very easier than expected:
- put some hd on the SB750 set as RAID
- put the initial hd on the SB750 number 4 connector set as IDE
- put from there (if there is some problem booting, use something like super grub 2 boot disk, e.g. I have a grub 2 installation on that hd and grub refused to boot)
- make the window installation recognizes the new hd as a standalone SB750 RAID disk (you may need to manually install the driver from the windows 7 installation SB750V set)
- done
