Title: Ga-890gpa-ud3h - cant get cd dvd/rom on ide to be recognized

New build with previuosly mentioned motherboard. Bios = ff. Have hdd on sata cables but cannot get the ide to recognize the cd dvd/rom. bios is set to ide native. the cd dvd is not being recognized anywhere and i have replaced cables and tried different hardware short off a sata cd dvd/rom.

any help out there ?

Hi,

is the CD/DVD drive the only IDE device you have?
If it is have you set the jumper on the back of it to Master?
