Title: GA-MA790X-UD3P: Help in choosing RAM.
Post by: St0nemask on January 20, 2011, 08:46:10 pm
Hi all, I am in serious help of choosing some RAM since a block decided to crap on me. And, while I was looking on the internets I came across:

http://www.dabs.com/products/kingston-valueram-valueram-8gb--2x4gb--ddr3-1066-non-ecc-cl7-dimm-67G1.html (http://www.dabs.com/products/kingston-valueram-valueram-8gb--2x4gb--ddr3-1066-non-ecc-cl7-dimm-67G1.html)

Will that fit my motherboard? I just wanna be sure before I buy it, and is it any good? The reason I´m asking is because I can buy it dirt cheap.

I am currently running AMD 965BE.

Hi there,

The RAM that you have linked to is DDR3 and sadly, your motherboard needs DDR2 RAM so it won't fit I'm afraid.
