HEEELLLLPPP!, GIGABYTE GTX 460 SOC FANS HAVE JUST well, "quit". it overheated and shut off……...

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
Sounds like you have a problem there. Have you checked the power connections to the card and also the connection where the fan is joined to the card?
Try rebooting and see if the fans come back on.

Try a program like msi afterburner to manually adjust speeds and if that fails, rma.

You could also try connecting the fans to PSU or motherboard. That way you'll be able to see if it's caused by the card ( like blown fan header ) or not.

its sorted, its in RMA. im also getting a new one.

Glad you got it sorted anyway. Sometimes these thing do fail and there is nothing else you can do about it but return them. :-\
