Title: Gigabyte P67A-UD4 RAM Setup
Post by: QuackPot on January 28, 2011, 03:38:16 pm
Just wondering, with anyone else here with a Gigabyte P67A-UD4, just what channels do the dual RAM sticks go into for dual channel RAM? Is it both channels next to each other or what?

Here's a pic of my PC when I first built it a few weeks back (cable management has been sorted now ;) ) but since both my RAM is on the left sockets, is this correct for it being in dual channel?

Hi and welcome to the gigabyte Forum.

The slots for the memory are numbered normally in the DDR3_1, DDR3_2, DDR3_3 etc format. The usual slots for using Dual Channel is DDR3_1 and DDR3_3  If you want to check this it is in your manual under fitting memory modules.
