Title: GA-EP45t-UD3LR and Xeon X3370

Hello I just bought this new processor.

The Xeon X3370 is exactly the same processor as Q9650 which is in the compatibility list of my M/B

When I install it the PC doesn't turn on.. I just hear continuos short beeps.

The CPU works on my other Asus M/B

What can I do?

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

My first guess would be that the processor isn't supported by the present BIOS. I also am not sure that the Xeon would be supported anyway as normally it would show on the supported CPU list. You didn't mention what revision your motherboard is so I can't give you a link to the page.
