Hi

It should show the Verifying DMI Data but move quickly on past that as it boots.

You could try an extended clear of the CMOS. Follow these instructions:

Remove the power cable from the mains supply and then press the power switch on the case for a few seconds just to drain any residual energy in the PSU capacitors.

Once done remove the motherboard battery for at least sixty minutes before replacing it.

Next plug back into the mains supply and boot.

You will now need to enter the BIOS by pressing DEL and load Opimised BIOS Defaults.

Make any other changes to the BIOS settings to suit your self and then press F10 to save and exit.

Hi.

Thanx for your reply Dark Mantis.
I tried this too, followed your instructions but with the same result as earlier, hangs at 'Verifying DMI...'
When i updated the Bios it did a updating DMI pool... Success.
And then got stuck there instead :) so it seems like it doesn't get past the DMI part or waits for next step.. could this result come from a faulty NTFS partition? just wonder since the OS(Win-7) should load from a SSD-disk, tried some diskchecks but all says disk OK.

Hi there,

if you remove all your SATA/IDE devices does the BOOT Process still hang at Verifying DMI...?
If it does Remove all your RAM and the try and BOOT the PC it will fail but, when it does, shut down the PC replace one stick of RAM and then reboot. Does the system still hang at Verifying DMI....?
