Title: GA-73PVM-S2H with USB 3.0 PCI-E card?
Post by: harmlessdrudge on February 08, 2011, 03:55:37 am
I am using a GA-73PVM-S2H motherboard with Ubuntu and would like to rsync to an external USB 3.0 drive.

I've tried installing a USB 3.0 PCI-E card but the machine won't even boot with it installed. Ubuntu already supports USB 3.0. Should I have any specific revision of the motherboard or BIOS? I've Googled and searched on the model and USB 3.0 without any results so far. Thanks.
