I can not get the rear on board USB connections to work in 2.0. Every time I plug something in I get the 'Can preform faster" message. I have installed drivers from supplied disk. Deleted all USB controllers, rebooted and re installed. Still no luck.
Any clues?

Hi
I would suggest two things. Download and install the latest drivers and BIOS from the website. Making sure that you use QFlash to run the BIOS update.
Secondly afterwards go into the BIOS and make sure that the USB option is set correctly.

I just did a reinstall with no extra hardware installed. Works fine now.

Great news. Often a re-install is the best way to go but a lot of people find it too much trouble and then spend ages trying to fathom the cause.

Since it was a new install I thought I would try that 1st. First time I installed I tried leaving my extra USB card and card reader/control panel in. I know better but did it anyway.

We all make mistakes at times, it doesn't matter how experienced we are. In fact the more years under the belt the worse the mistake seems. ::)
