Hi,
Strangely I cant find any info anywhere about the dimesnions of the above card.
Just need to know the Length, Width and Height before i splash out on one at the begining of next month.
Here is a pic of my Mobo (Asus P5QD Turbo)
Currently there is a 9800GTX in there.
I have a 600w PSU, is that sufficient?
Thanks for any help!

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
I haven't the size of the 470SO but I have the sizes for the cards next to it if that would help.
GV-N470SO-13I: H=42.5, L=291.1, W=126.9 mm
GV-N460OC-1GI: H=43, L=238 , W=130 mm
PSU size is dependant on the whole system so it is hard to say if yours will be sufficient. I would think it must be pushing it a bit though even with a fairly low end system.

Currently on XP SP3 but I am upgrading to W7 at the end of the month.
running 4Gb of Corsair Dominator Ram, 3.2GHZ intel Dual core Processor, what other components would need to be listed?
One website said a 600w PSU would be sufficient and power consumption is fairly low despite the OC ~105w if i remember. I may even have a 650w PSU but TBH i cant remember right now.
Would the 460 OC be a safer bet?

To be honest there isn't going to be much difference between the two cards power usage wise. I expect your PSU will work ok but just bear it in mind if you start having problems. ;)

Ok then thanks for your help. Looked on the Ebuyer website and the 460 'Cyclone' Edition reccomends a 450w PSU so Im going to assume an extra 250w is suficcient to run it lol.
I'll measure if i have enough room then order one. ;D
Might be a bit cheeky but you got any discount codes or offers anywhere? ;) lol.

Sorry no, but if you do find any please let me know too ;)
