Er, so anyway, long time no see guys!! ;D
Let get to the question.
I've got a GA-M55S-S3 v2.0 MB that's not in use for a while,
and I want to upgrade my little brother's pc with as less money as possible...
My brother's PC has a GA-M55SLI-S4 which doesn't support AM3 CPUs
But GA-M55S-S3 do support AM3(accord to gigabyte's web information)
Is it true? ???

Hi there,
yes the GA-M55S-S3 will support some of the AM3 CPU's but will probably need a BIOS update to do so.
Be careful though as the choice of AM3 processors is pretty limited. You don't say which revision your motherboard is but you can check out further details here: http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/download-center.aspx?kw=GA-M55S-S3 if you just choose your particular version.

It's a version 2.0 board with latest bios ;D
so I can go and buy an 955 and use!!
Thanks for help!
